Today's The Day!

I have been waiting for this day since second semester of freshman year. It is now October 27th of Senior year. Today was the day, Senior Meeting. We walked into the auditorium to see a tall man standing in front with multiple bulletin boards and posters set up facing the audience. The audience was us. Seniors. The man proceeded to tell us that he was here to tell us about of Senior graduation information. I was so excited. I have been waiting to get out of this school and graduate and never come back. This was a big start to our graduation, ordering graduation announcements, cap and gowns, and accesories. I was overwhelmed with what seemed like decisions that would take a life-time to make. How would i decide on just ONE card? And what size gown do I need? And do I want any accesories? Its so hard to decide but everyone has to do it at some time. It was my time. Im finally a senior. Im finally graduating.

  1. Haha, I like that you describe the audience as 'us'--it reminds us that even though these sorts of things happen all the time, they only happen once to 'us'. Sometimes teachers forget this--that students are experiencing these things for the first time. Will you walk with your class even if you graduate early? I hope so because I will be awfully sad if I don't see you.
